I do my part by buying new clothes only when the old ones fall apart.

There is a new view among consumers, too, that it’s cool to upcycle favorite clothes and wear them longer

I am a bit sceptical that it applies to that many, even though it should. I never buy clothes but somehow keep accumulating them. I loathe socks but have enough to see me out - all gifts - which I suppose is what happens when you reach a certain age. A pair of shorts and singlet and the climate to match is really all I want.

Summer is so wonderfully hot and humid that I do not wear clothes at home at all. Do not need aircon as my roof terrace is amazing and wah... Life is good.

I will buy one or two new items later in the fall.
